Triad
Information Systems has designed and built Triad
2000, which features a brand new concept in on-line
business-to-business communications.
When
a primary care provider, or entity at risk, sees a
patient, it is often determined that a specialist or
ancillary provider must be called upon to evaluate
or treat the medical condition of that patient. A
referral is created in MD Office 2000 (our practice
management software), detailing not only the
diagnosis but the specific procedures the specialist
is authorized to perform.
Triad
2000 virtually eliminates the need for faxing,
phoning, batching, manually investigating duplicate
submissions or over utilization of medical
treatments, and many of the other manual,
time-consuming procedures that create confusion and
doubt.
The
referral is submitted to the Triad 2000 web site and
an automated e-mail message is immediately sent by
the web-site host, to the specialist, advising him
of the new referral's posting. The specialist views
the referral on-line and contacts the primary care
physician (PCP) with any questions or to discuss the
proposed treatment plan. If the PCP agrees to
authorize additional services, the original referral
is retrieved in the MD Office 2000 practice
management software, edited and resubmitted to the
web site.
Triad
2000 offers secure, instantaneous access and on-line
display to any authorized user with a business need
to know the information. The technology utilized
takes full advantage of the latest innovations in
internet technology.
